Wedding and Event Rental

The historic Sam Davis Home, located along the banks of Stewart's Creek in Smyrna, Tennessee, is the perfect place for your unique wedding or reception. The cedar-lined driveway sets the mood for a calmer, more tranquil pace and the more than 160 acres of the original plantation offers several locations for your outdoor wedding. Sites are offered in front of the historic house, by the creek, and throughout the garden grounds.

If you are interested in renting the site for a party, meeting, or other special event, we are equiped to provide you with a wonderful location that completes your event. The Sam Davis Home welcomes your interest in renting our plantation for your special event. Call and schedule a time to come by and visit the site. We are open year-round and welcome the opportunity to host your special day.

Photography is allowed on our grounds, but please call ahead to schedule a time and to make sure other events are not scheduled (for your benefit as much as ours).  There is a $25 professional photography fee that can be paid when you call to schedule or when you arrive on the grounds.  We ask that anyone entering our grounds for photography purposes please check-in at the front desk of the Visitor's Center.  Please observe our operating hours that are posted on the website as well as at the front gates to our property.  Thank you for your interest in our beautiful site!

Appointments need to be scheduled in advance to be able to meet with our Event Coordinator to begin planning your special event.
