Jane Davis Academy

July 10-14

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day.

Arts and crafts are making a comeback but there was a time when families completed sewing projects and knitted for practical reasons rather than as a hobby. Campers in the Jane Davis Academy will learn about the 19th Century way of life, including sewing, dance, appropriate dress, and other household chores. Campers will also learn the farm chores required in order to keep a plantation operating. Period dress is optional.
